| | People: How to reset password in MyGeotab with an email address (Forgot Password) |
| Procedure | - Navigate to the MyGeotab login page.
- Click Next.
- Click on Forgot Password? OR navigate to the Reset Password page.
- On the next page, type the email address and database name > Select OK.
- Check email for password reset link, click the link.
- Set new password and click on SAVE.

| Additional Notes | - This procedure will only work if the username is an email address. Please see MyGeotab: How can I reset my password for additional methods to reset a user's password if they do not have an email address.
- The password reset link will only be valid for one hour after it has been sent.
- If the email is not coming up in the inbox, make sure to check the Spam folder.
- Make sure to update the database and the server on the Drive app.
- If the user is under USER LOCK OUT period, the password resets will not go through. You have to either serve the full LOCKED OUT period or have an administrator UNLOCK the user in MyGeotab to perform a password rest.
