There can be a few causes of Geotab devices not working/recording information. Please see the following:

• Device is not plugged in correctly.
• Harness is not installed correctly, failing, or not working.
• Vehicle battery is failing or dead.
• Some other engine faults.
• Device failure.
• Area with bad cellular coverage.
