Report: Users with data access to certain groups not receiving emailed reports

Symptoms

  • Users with Data access to some Groups and not receiving emailed reports
  • Audit log shows the report was sent but the Users never received it.

Cause

  • The user has data access set to certain groups which is limiting his/her ability to view the report and hence receive it.
  • The groups the user has access to have no vehicles (devices) assigned to them.

Resolution

  • Check to see if the User has the correct Data access. For this check the "Data Access" settings in User settings. Double check to see if those groups have Vehicles assigned to them.
  • Click on the Report and navigate to Email report tab. Check the "belonging To" option in the "Report Data configuration" and make sure its set to correct data access.
