Report: How to configure a report sent by email

Procedure

  1. Select the Administration > Report Configuration... > Report Views or the Reports > Report Setup > Report Views option from the main menu.
  2. Enter the name of the desired report in the search bar.

  3. Click the report name.
  4. Click the Email Report tab.

  5. Select On for Email Options.
  6. Set report display options:
    1. Select the groups that will receive the report from the Recipient groups list.
    2. Select who will receive the report from the Individual recipients list.
    3. Select Yes for the Email the report to me option to receive it yourself.
      NOTE: If you wish the report to only be sent to you, click Yes only on the option Email the report to me. This option is only available for users with administrator security clearance at this time and will set up the report to be emailed to yourself instead of an entire group.
    4. Select Yes to Redirect the report to another user.
      NOTE: This feature is commonly used when troubleshooting or testing new reports. Leave the Redirect Report option set to No if you or other recipients will receive the report.
  7. Establish the report data configuration:
    1. Select the Type of report you will receive.
    2. Select the Date Range to include in the emailed report.
    3. Select the Report and Email Data Refresh Period.
    4. Select the Next report production date for the email.
    5. Under Belongs to, select the groups whose data to include in the emailed report.
  8. Depending on the report, there may be other reporting options to set, such as special exceptions, zone types, or other thresholds.
  9. Once finished, click the Save button.

Additional Notes

  • If you do not receive an email report, check your spam folder, your deleted emails, and your email filter and blocking settings.
