Procedure
When co-drivers share a vehicle and the logs appear under the incorrect driver, the driver must contact their company's administrator to re-assign logs to the correct driver. Administrators should follow the following steps:
- Select Activity > HOS... > Logs or select Compliance > HOS > Logs option from the main menu.
- Enter desired date.
- Select Driver in the drivers drop-down and click Apply changes.
- Click Duty Status Log that needs to be edited.
- To move multiple logs:
- Click the box that says Select none to the right of total items.
- Click Select visible to move all logs orClick Select individual to move specific logs.
- Click the more button at the top right of the screen then click Editselected HOS Logs.
- Click Replace With next to Driver.
- To move multiple logs:
- Select Driver in HOS driver dropdown.
- Add an annotation.
- Click Save.
Additional Notes
- Important: You can only assign logs between co-drivers.
- When this occurs, availability for original driver will be affected. Once logs are re-assigned to the correct driver, the original driver's availability will reflect correctly.
- This Method can also be used to Replace Duty Status / Device / Co-Driver.
- You cannot move any exemptions logs to another driver.
- The HOS logs in question needs to be verified beforehand.
- When the logs get reassigned, please ensure the driver verifies the logs for accuracy and have them accept the changes.
