Procedure
- Select the Map option from the main menu.
- Navigate to the road, either manually or by typing the desired address or coordinates in the search bar.
- Click on the road and select Update posted road speed.
- Enter the new vehicle and truck speed limits.
NOTE: Ensure your entered road speeds match the given speed limit unit. - Click Apply Changes.

CAUTION: Once you update the speed limit of a road on your database, it affects every database immediately. |
- Modifying posted road speeds changes road speeds across all databases. It is not possible to change the road speed for a single database only.

Commercial my.geotab.com databases are separate from commercial gov.geotab.com databases. The MapFederation mymap.geotab.com and the MapFederation govmap.geotab.com are two seperate servers.
Updates made on a commercial my.geotab.com database will not affect a commercial gov.geotab.com database, and vice versa.
