How to pull and download HOS logs report?

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Activity OR Compliance +
  2. Click HOS...
  3. Click HOS Logs
  4. In the Options pop-up, select a desire Date Period and Driver
  5. Click Apply Changes. If you want to just pull the web/MyGeotab view, you can stop here. If not, continue by following the steps below:
  6. Click Report
  7. Select Standard or Advanced to download the report as an Excel file or Click on the 3 dots > Download PDF to download the report in a PDF version

Additional Notes

  • Browser pop-up blocker may prevents download.
  • For more information on how long Geotab keeps drive logs, click here.
  • Keep in mind the HOS logs will be created for individual drivers only and not vehicles.
  • To pull logs for an unknown driver follow the same steps listed above and select Unidentified Driver
  • It is recommended to annotate Unidentified Driver Logs in case of an Audit by the FMCSA, they may question those logs.
  • You can set up the HOS logs as an emailed report by looking for "Default HOS logs" or "Advanced HOS logs" in Administration>Report Setup>Report Views.
