Procedure
If you are using the Geotab developed add-in
- Please follow the instructions followed in Geotab Camera Add-In User Guide - [PUB]
- Navigate to the Cameras page.
- On the Cameras page, click the Add camera button.
- On the Add Camera page, enter the required information.
✱ NOTE: To add a camera to an asset using the Geotab Camera Add-In, the camera must be ordered through the Geotab Marketplace using the Order Now program, and the serial number must match a GO device that has already been added to the database.
- For Bulk Import
- On the Cameras page, select Bulk import cameras from the Add camera dropdown menu.
- In the Bulk Camera Import pop-up window, enter the required information for each device on a separate line.
- Click Save to add the camera.
If you are using the Surfsight developed add-in
- In MyGeotab navigate to the Surfsight add-in
- Go to the vehicles page and press Add Camera at the top
- Enter the IMEI number of the Camera and select which vehicle it is for, then hit OK at the top
- You will now see this vehicle in the list of vehicles
Additional Notes
- If the IMEI is invalid it will not let you add the device and will let you know in a banner at the top of the page
