How to create custom rule to detect when passenger seat belt is in use

Procedure

1. Under Rules & Groups > select R ules
2. Select Add
3. On the option name you can create a name for the rule
4. Under Conditions please click on Add engine then click on Measurement or Data
5. On diagnostic type select Passenger seat belt violation (1 = unbuckled)
6. On Value select Under 1 (To see when the seat belt is belted)
7. Select Add
8. You can add more conditions and the notifications set up as you prefer
9. Select Save when finished .

Additional Notes

  • The GO device tracks passenger seat belt as long as the vehicle supports it.
  • In order to set up a rear passenger seat belt rule, other diagnostic types may be selected as needed such as:First row middle seat belt (1 = unbuckled), Second row left seat belt (1 = unbuckled), Second row middle seat belt (1 = unbuckled), Second row right seat belt (1 = unbuckled), Third row left seat belt (1 = unbuckled), Third row middle seat belt (1 = unbuckled), Third row right seat belt (1 = unbuckled)
