Procedure
- Select the Rules & Groups > Rules or the Groups & Rules > Rules option from the main menu.
- Enter the name of the desired rule in the search bar.
- Click the pencil icon on the right.
- Enter a Name for the rule.
- Select which groups the rule applies to under Publish to groups.
- Click the Conditions tab.
- Click the Advanced Condition Editor icon to edit the values.
- Edit the rule conditions as needed.
- Click the Notifications tab.
- Add notifications to send when the rule is broken.
- Click the Save button.
Additional Notes
- Reprocess the data to see past exceptions. See How to reprocess data in MyGeotab.
- Consider disabling the built-in rule if you add additional conditions to the new rule.
