Why do speeding exceptions sometimes continue even though the speed limit has changed?

Speeding exceptions in MyGeotab are calculated based onthe speed limit at each GPS coordinate.MyGeotab's current design cannot determine if a speed limit changedin between GPS points logged by a device. Because of this, there may be instanceswherea speed limit has changedbutMyGeotab is still usingthe speed limit at the last GPS point to calculate the speeding exceptionuntil the next GPS point is logged to update the speed limit value.
